First TV commercial for Fallout: New Vegas released

One of my favorite games over the last few years was Fallout 3. I never had the pleasure of playing the first two Fallout games back in the day, so for me, the 3rd installment was my first time into the wasteland. What a memoriable trip it was too. Full of mutated monsters, slavers, epic scenery and an eerily correct vision of a post apocolyptic washington DC I was instantly hooked in the world. Peppered with comedic 50's styled gags and jokes throughout you would go from laughing to immediately scared out of your mind before you had time to register what it was that happened.

Bethesda is back at it again it seems, with this years Fallout: New Vegas. Set in the same post apocolypic world as the first three fallouts, a world whose time line diverged in the 1950's and where world war 3 really happened, you play the part of a struggling person just trying to get by each day. Shot in the head and left in a ditch you awake to find you have no memory and require facial reconstruction surgeroy, then you set off into the world to see what you can make of it.

I look forward to this newest installment in the series and have no doubts it will become my favorite game of the year within an hour of installing it. (Sorry League of Legends, you will just need to take a back seat for a while♥)
